The AEC intern program is designed to provide firsthand working knowledge of manufacturing and business activities at AEC. The candidate will develop valuable problem solving skills while assisting with the support of existing programs as well as the development of new products and processes.This internship position is being offered for the summer of to begin in May '25 and end in August '25, with flexibility based on semester start/end dates.Job PurposeThis role will be providing support to our Supply Chain professionals.Job ResponsibilitiesIn the performance of their respective tasks and duties all employees are expected to conform to the following values: Safety, Accountability, Integrity, Passion, Innovation, and Respect.The Supply Chain Intern will have focused activities for:Process ImprovementPlanning and SchedulingProcurement supportInvoice maintenance Order placementPast Due Order maintenance QualificationsQualifications/Characteristics A candidate for Supply Chain Intern is expected to have completed at least two years (three years preferred) toward a BS in Business, Supply Chain Management, or other related field with a GPA of preferred.)The following preferred skills and abilities shall be demonstrated by a candidate for our Supply Chain intern:Team and people skills that are required to ensure efficient execution of tasks.Problem solving skills.Flexible and adaptable.Effective communication.Well organized and disciplined.Able to identify problems and willing to make decisions.Working ConditionsIndoor office environment, adjacent to production environment, adequate lighting and comfortable temperatures.  Occasional exposure to moderate noise and machinery with mechanical moving parts.  Physical requirementsOccasionally positions self to move an office item >10 lbs.Frequently move about the production floor and office area to attend meetings or trainingsMust be able to remain in a stationary position up to 75% of the timeFrequently operates a computer, enters data into systems, verifies information, etc.Nothing in this document restricts management's right to assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time.Please note:As a Department of Defense Contractor we are required to hire US Persons.Visa sponsorship is not being offered.
