About the Role:

American Guard Services, Inc. is seeking an experienced Account Manager for our sister company Surveillance International. This role is for those in the Security and Surveillance industry to oversee all security technology systems across our client sites and internal facilities. This position plays a key role in ensuring the performance, reliability, and compliance of video surveillance, access control, and alarm systems.

You will be responsible for managing new installations, system upgrades, vendor coordination, and troubleshooting technical issues across multiple properties and clients. The ideal candidate has a strong technical foundation in security systems and thrives in a fast-paced environment that demands attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee installation, configuration, and maintenance of CCTV, access control, and alarm systems across all AGS/SI client locations.
  • Manage vendor relationships, coordinate service calls, and ensure timely repairs or upgrades.
  • Conduct system audits, monitor equipment functionality, and maintain up-to-date records of all devices and user access levels.
  • Work closely with Operations and IT teams to ensure seamless integration of technology and physical security.
  • Develop and implement standard operating procedures for equipment usage, storage, and monitoring practices.
  • Train staff on the use of security systems and assist with investigations as needed.
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and inventory for new installations and system expansions.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience managing or installing CCTV, access control, or integrated security systems.
  • Working knowledge of systems such as Avigilon, Genetec, Honeywell, Brivo, Lenel, or Milestone preferred.
  • Strong understanding of networking fundamentals (IP cameras, NVRs, PoE switches, etc.).
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and project management skills.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel locally to client sites.
  • Ability to lift, climb ladders, and work with basic tools for on-site installations or troubleshooting.
