We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Regional Sales Manager with expertise in the air compressor industry to join our growing team. The successful candidate will play a key role in expanding our market presence, building strong client relationships, and driving sales within the designated region.

Responsibilities, Requirements:

  • Prospecting new distributor accounts for generating revenue.
  • Develop relationships with key accounts in assigned territory.
  • Provide support to distribution.
  • Proactively communicate with distributors to establish a strong relationship with the key contacts.
  • Maintain continuous communication with distributors and assist with challenges.
  • Provide feedback on how we can improve our support system.
  • Track customer calls/visits and provide reports accordingly.
  • Manage competitive intelligence.
  • Maintain quote log.
  • Stay current with developments in all Hertz compressor in USA products and offerings.
  • Provide sales/product training to customers.
  • Achieve business plan and sales goals.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Up to 70% overnight travel required.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering; Degree in business marketing or management considered with supplemental technical training or experience.
  • Two to five years' compressor industry experience is preferred.
  • General knowledge of industrial products including compressed Air Products and air treatment.
  • Exceptional communication skills, self-motivated, and self-starter
  • Must be able to travel frequently to attend training and sales meetings.
  • Must be highly customer service oriented, trustworthy, dependable, and a team player.
  • Must have good driving record and maintain a valid driver's license.
  • Must be proficient in excel, CRM, search engines, and database management.
  • High level of business ethics compliance and integrity
