Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Fund Accountant to join our finance team. This role is critical to ensuring accurate fund reporting, smooth operations, and compliance with investor and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in fund accounting, preferably within private credit, private equity, or alternative investments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for private credit funds.
  • Maintain general ledger and capital account balances for multiple fund entities.
  • Assist with investor allocations, capital calls, distributions, and waterfall calculations.
  • Coordinate with third-party fund administrators, auditors, and tax advisors.
  • Support internal reporting needs, including performance metrics and portfolio analytics.
  • Ensure compliance with fund governing documents and accounting standards.
  • Participate in system implementations and process improvements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or progress toward CPA preferred.
  • 2-5 years of fund accounting experience, ideally within private credit or private equity.
  • Strong understanding of investment structures, capital flows, and partnership accounting.
  • Proficiency in Excel; experience with fund accounting systems (e.g., Investran, eFront, or similar) is a plus.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
