Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC systems, mechanical knowledge, and experience in service technician roles. This position involves installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems. The HVAC Technician will work both independently and as part of a team to ensure optimal performance of HVAC systems in residential and commercial properties.

Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, and refrigeration equipment.
  • Troubleshoot issues using schematics and diagnostic tools such as an ohmmeter.
  • Perform routine maintenance on HVAC/R systems to ensure efficient operation.
  • Conduct field service visits to assess system performance and implement repairs as needed.
  • Collaborate with property maintenance teams to address HVAC-related concerns.
  • Utilize welding skills for equipment repair when necessary.
  • Maintain accurate records of service performed and parts used.
  • Stay updated on industry standards and best practices related to HVAC design and installation.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as an HVAC Technician or similar role with a focus on service technician experience.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read schematics and blueprints.
  • Familiarity with plumbing systems and appliance repair is a plus.
  • Experience in ammonia refrigeration is preferred but not required.
  • Ability to perform equipment repairs on various types of HVAC systems including air conditioning, heating units, and boilers.
  • Valid driver's license is required for travel to job sites.
  • Previous experience in construction or property maintenance is advantageous.
