Building Automation Service Technicians (BAS) Technician based in Houston, TX

We are seeking a Building Automation Service Technician who has experience installing, troubleshooting & servicing of DDC Building Automation Systems. Minimum 3 years of related experience required. IP networking knowledge as well as various field-level communication system knowledge is required. Knowledge Tridium AX/N4 necessary and other brand system experience preferred.

Technician Duties:

  • Diagnose and repair complex direct digital control system malfunctions requiring thorough knowledge of mechanical systems and electronic theory, as well as the ability to create & modify program algorithms for multiple systems.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
  • Candidate must be able to coordinate time and tasks effectively with assistance from the project coordinator.
  • Maintain detailed service report notes.
  • Create control algorithms, download source code to controllers, manage system databases, and implement an animated front-end graphical user interface when required.
  • Analyze problems and resolve issues to ensure the complete system functions properly.
  • Perform service repairs, adjustments and calibration on building systems.
  • Coordinate and perform customer training and ensure timely completion of project closeout documents.
  • Provide technical support and direction to end-users and employees when applicable.
