Position Purpose:

As an associate consultant with Corporate Planning and Strategic Services (CPSS), you will support a diverse mix of projects as a member of our internal consulting team. You will utilize business consulting and facilitation skills and provide project leadership as you partner with business areas across the organization to anticipate needs, create strategies, overcome challenges and advance and deliver sustainable opportunities.

Location: This is an onsite position from 8am - 5pm, Monday through Friday, located at 105 New Way Road, Columbia SC 29223.

What you will do:

  • Collaborate with customers and fellow CPSS team members on key efforts to drive results and shape future success across the enterprise
  • Design and deliver value-added solutions utilizing your skills and experiences in the areas of planning, change implementation, innovation and improvement, and learning and development
    Provide leadership and insight to help business units achieve their goals and objectives.

To Qualify For This Position, You'll Need The Following:

  • Required Education: Bachelor's
  • Degree Equivalency: 4 years job related work experience or Associate's and 2 years job related work experience
  • Required Training: PAHM certification within 1 year of hire.

  • Technical and analytical execution to drive business decision-making. Advanced understanding in creating well-designed data management and analytical insight solutions powered by MS Excel, MS Access, SQL, VBA, PowerBI, Tableau and Office365 applications to achieve results.
  • Effective Presentations: Ability to utilize effective storytelling techniques to transform data, insights and recommendations into compelling executive messages.
  • Influencing and Collaboration: Proven capabilities to proactively partner with individuals/teams to win support and champion solutions from ideation to execution, as well as displaying qualities of a leader, that engage, inspire, align, and move people to act.
