What you'll do

  • Assist in managing all aspects of food and beverage operations, including service quality and guest satisfaction.
  • Supervise staff training and development to enhance skills in food handling, customer service, and culinary techniques.
  • Oversee inventory control processes, ensuring proper stock levels and minimizing waste.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to maintain high standards of food preparation and presentation.
  • Implement effective cash handling procedures and ensure accurate POS (Point of Sale) transactions using Micros POS systems.
  • Manage shift schedules, ensuring adequate staffing levels for peak times while maintaining operational efficiency.
  • Conduct regular inspections to uphold food safety standards and compliance with health regulations.
  • Support budgeting efforts by monitoring expenses and identifying cost-saving opportunities.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar role within the food industry.
  • Strong knowledge of food service management principles, including inventory control and budgeting.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with experience in team management and staff training.
  • Familiarity with various POS systems, particularly Micros POS.
  • Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence.
  • Background in fine dining or casual dining environments is preferred; banquet experience is a plus
  • Ability to thrive under pressure while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced setting.
  • Culinary experience or formal training is highly desirable.
