The Regional Account Executive - Aerospace & Defense (Midwest) will drive sales growth by building and maintaining strong customer relationships within the aerospace and defense industry. This role focuses on identifying opportunities, managing accounts, and achieving revenue targets in the Midwest region.

Description

Territory Ownership: Manage assigned territory, including all customer revenue, bookings, and gross margin.

Sales & Account Management: Maintain and grow existing accounts while engaging all customer departments-engineering, program management, purchasing, and operations.

Strategic Account Partnership: Communicate customer requirements internally and build strong, long-term partnerships.

Forecast Management: Accurately report major customer forecasts and provide strategic insights to drive opportunity closure.

New Business Development: Identify, qualify, and manage New Business Opportunities (NBOs) across full product and service portfolio.

SalesForce Utilization: Fully document all customers, contacts, meetings, and opportunities in Salesforce.

Travel Requirement: Approximately 60-70% travel, including local day trips and overnight/multi-day trips across the territory.

Market Focus: Drive new design wins and revenue growth in Defense, Aerospace, Commercial, and Industrial markets.

Customer Communication: Effectively present products' features, benefits, and value differentiation to prospective customers.

Profile

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree (technical preferred) with 5-7 years in sales or account management.
  • Established Defense industry network and strong relationship-building skills.
  • Willing to travel 60-70% across the assigned territory.
  • Valid driver's license and passport required.
  • Proven ability to drive new business, manage accounts, and communicate technical solutions effectively.
  • Familiarity with U.S. export-controlled products or technical data a plus.
