Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our team and help aid our financial journey for our growing company. In this role, you will play a critical part in supporting the overall finance and accounting function of the company by ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial transactions and reports. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for the general ledger, processing of accounts payable and receivable, and assisting in various accounting tasks within the finance department. This role involves maintaining financial records, preparing financial reports, analyzing financial data, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations.

Job Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of timely and accurate financial statements, reports, and budgets.
- Record and process journal entries and ensure all transactions are accurately recorded and reconciled.
- Assist in the recording and reconciliation of customer collections and supplier payments.
- Responsible for month and year end closing procedures, as per the Company's guidelines and applicable regulations.
- Review and maintain financial records for accuracy and compliance.
- Prepare bank reconciliations and maintain cash flow records.
- Assist in internal and external audits, and related tax filings.
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives to streamline accounting processes.
- Participate in special projects and other duties as assigned.
- Support with general aspects of the business.
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or progress to certification highly preferred; along with at least 3-5 years of related experience in a finance role.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial statements.
- Proficiency with accounting software such as QuickBooks.
- Extensive computer experience using MS Excel, and other MS Office products
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Bilingual preferably Spanish
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75, $85,000.00 per year
