Work Hours:

Our office hours are from Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. There is no set schedule for sales personnel as work schedules vary depending on client or company needs. In addition to regular business hours, sales personnel may be required to work evenings, weekends, and out-of-town travel. Travel may involve overnight or extended stays.

Position Overview:

The Senior Account Manager at Pref-Tech will be responsible for managing and growing relationships with an assigned portfolio of clients. As a Senior Account Manager, you will serve as the primary point of contact and work with your assigned customers to understand customer needs and requirements and ensure a smooth sales process through excellent customer service and professionalism. You will identify growth opportunities and increase revenue with your account base and stay abreast of current and emerging technologies to help aid our clients in making informed decisions through strategic account management. This is a non-prospecting role focused on deepening engagement within assigned accounts.

Work Locations:

Our corporate office is located at 1414 Wedgewood, Houston, Texas Our Austin office is located at 3709 Promontory Point Drive, Suite 106, Austin, TX We currently have a hybrid work schedule for most employees allowing for some remote work, dependent on training and other factors.  Specific days and meetings require in-person attendance.

•    Fulfill our purpose statement with all decisions and actions:

•    Lead, manage, assume accountability, and serve as the main liaison between the company and assigned accounts, sales projects and sales tasks.

•    Develop and execute account plans to increase revenue and expand services within your assigned accounts. This includes, but is not limited to:
o     introducing new technology and strengthening the client relationship at multiple levels (i.e.: Decision makers, Purchasing Managers, Project Managers, C-Suite, etc.)

•    Understand client goals, challenges, and industry trends to provide tailored solutions and strategic guidance.

•    Maintain and continue to develop sales and design skills and certifications.

•    Work closely with internal teams to include but not limited to Design Estimation and Operations to ensure accurate pricing and to allow for effective execution of proposed projects.

•    Prepare strategic plans regarding daily activities, customer contact and structure of calls and appointments and follow-up.

•    Attend site walks, meetings and other relationship engagement activities within your assigned accounts

•    Monitor account performance, track appropriate metrics and report on progress to internal stakeholders.

•    Manage deals and contacts in Pref-Tech's CRM.

•    Prepare proposals and estimates with detailed scopes of work and accurate pricing.

•    Work within a team environment to foster collaboration and innovation. Cultivate a supportive culture that prioritizes mutual respect, trust, and a commitment to achieving both individual and team objectives.

•    Identify and resolve client pain promptly and effectively, ensuring long-term satisfaction and retention.

•    Maintain In-depth knowledge of products and services that Pref-Tech offers.

•    Maintain In-depth knowledge of a rapidly changing market trends that comprises the products and services that Pref-Tech offers.

•    Self-starter with a positive outlook and a high level of enthusiasm

•    Adhere to all HR and safety policies and procedures.

•    Other duties as assigned.

Desired Qualifications and Experience:


•    Minimum of 3 years of experience managing enterprise accounts

•    Minimum of 3 years of experience managing relationships at the C Suite level.

•    Minimum of 3years of experience in creating security estimates, proposals, and designs

•    PSP Certification Preferred

•    High School Diploma or GED equivalent required

•    Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing or related field preferred 

•    Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal

•    Exceptional organizational skills

•    Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills

•    Fluency with Microsoft Office 365 software tools


•    Willingness to take on new challenges and build on current skills

•    Capacity to work independently and collaboratively

•    Ability to work efficiently without compromising quality or accuracy

Compensation:


•    Competitive salary based on experience, training, and fit for position with commission based on the Sales Commission Plan, paid out quarterly.

•    Salary ranging between $75,000 and $85,000 annually, based on experience, training, and fit for position with an annual OTE of $130,000 - $150,000.
o    Additional incentives within existing accounts when selling new lines of business or technologies driven by the Senior Account Manager.

•    4% Matching 401K (Safe Harbor Plan)

•    2 weeks PTO
