Job DescriptionTo ensure successful planning, management and analysis of clinical operations, business development, information systems, and analysis, to optimize radiology operations. To plan, implement and evaluate strategic initiatives and/or organizational development for area(s) of responsibility. To work collaboratively with key stakeholders such as faculty, physicians, hospital leadership and directors to ensure business partnerships are enhanced and all needs met with an emphasis on quality outcomes. To coordinate and supervise project management initiatives as requested. To ensure project management coordination, daily business operations of the department, facilitate meetings, coordinate action items, and communicate and collaborate with leadership on barriers and direction setting. Maintain awareness of UAB strategic initiatives and ensure alignment with day to day operational improvement initiatives.
QualificationsBachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Business Administration or related field and four (4) years of related healthcare experience required. Work experience may NOT substitute for education requirement. Master's degree in Healthcare Administration, Public Health or Business Administration is strongly preferred.
