Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in construction plumbing and have experience working on various plumbing systems in both residential and commercial settings. This role requires a hands-on approach, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to read blueprints and schematics effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and appliances.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine plumbing layout.
  • Perform pipe threading, welding, and assembly tasks as needed.
  • Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively on construction sites.
  • Conduct routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues or necessary repairs.
  • Collaborate with other tradespeople on remodeling projects to ensure seamless integration of plumbing systems.
  • Adhere to safety regulations while performing heavy lifting and working in various construction environments.
  • Provide assistance with HVAC installations when required.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in construction plumbing with a solid understanding of plumbing codes and regulations.
  • Familiarity with mechanical systems, including HVAC components.
  • Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with basic math proficiency for measurements and calculations.
  • Experience with carpentry is a plus for remodeling tasks.
  • Previous experience on construction sites is essential for understanding workflow dynamics.
  • A valid commercial driving license is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Maintenance Person experience is beneficial for addressing diverse repair needs.
