Insurance Client Service Representative

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary contact for clients via phone, email, and virtual communication platforms.
  • Answer questions related to policy coverage, billing, renewals, and claims, ensuring clients receive timely and accurate information.
  • Process policy changes, endorsements, and updates in accordance with carrier and agency procedures.
  • Maintain accurate client information within the CRM or agency management system.
  • Assist clients with billing inquiries, payment processing, and account reconciliation.
  • Coordinate with insurance agents, underwriters, and carriers to resolve client concerns and service requests.
  • Prepare and send policy documents, ID cards, and coverage confirmations.
  • Track client interactions and maintain thorough records for compliance and quality assurance.
  • Identify opportunities for policy renewals, cross-sells, or coverage enhancements and route them to the appropriate team.
  • Uphold all confidentiality and regulatory standards .

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Prior experience in customer service, insurance support, or administrative coordination is helpful but not required—training provided.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a client-focused, professional approach always.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with attention to detail.
  • Comfortable working independently and efficiently in a fully remote setting.
  • Reliable high-speed internet and dedicated workspace for professional remote work.
