Location: Charlotte, NC (Hybrid - 3 days onsite in the University)

Duration: 12+ Months

Due to client requirements, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.

Rate: $53 - $63 / hr. w2

Responsibilities

  • Extend and customize Nautobot for network automation and inventory management.
  • Design, develop, and maintain Django applications and RESTful APIs.
  • Deploy and maintain container solutions for new and existing applications.
  • Implement testing strategies with CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
  • Construct and overlay network topology maps with GIS visualizations.
  • Configure alerts and dashboards using Grafana and Prometheus.
  • Collaborate with teammates to design, deliver, and support automated solutions for data and transport networks.
  • Manage sprint tasks with minimal supervision, identify problems, and develop solutions.
  • Foster positive working relationships with network architects and support teams.
  • Maintain documentation and lead knowledge transfer sessions.

Experience Requirements

Required Experience:

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong expertise in programming/scripting with Python, bash, etc.
  • Hands-on experience with Nautobot, Ansible, Puppet, Terraform, and GitHub Actions for CI/CD.
  • Experience with Linux/Unix systems and container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience with network devices (routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs).
  • Understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, IPv4/IPv6, BGP, OSPF).
  • Experience with monitoring/observability tools and API-driven network management.
  • Skills in developing custom dashboards and managing data sources in Grafana.

Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range.
