Overview
Productive Home Health Care is a home health agency dedicated to providing exceptional care to our patients. We seek an experienced Alternate Director of Professional Services to support the clinical leadership of the agency as we actively prepare for CHAP accreditation. This role is ideal for a clinically strong RN leader with a deep understanding of regulatory compliance and survey readiness who thrives in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
Duties
- Lead and coordinate the agency's CHAP accreditation preparation, including readiness assessments, internal audits, and the development of action plans to address gaps.
- Directs and supervises professional and auxiliary personnel rendering patient care services, performs marketing duties, and fosters public relations for the company, consults and plans with health care facilities regarding staffing needs, and communicates the concept of quality patient care to the general community.
- Interprets service needs to the Administrator and acts as a patient services administrative liaison.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversees and directs all skilled nursing and therapeutic services to ensure safe, high-quality patient care.
- Develops, updates, and maintains agency policies, procedures, care standards, and job descriptions.
- Leads recruitment, hiring, onboarding, and ongoing staff education to maintain a competent clinical team.
- Evaluates staff performance, supervises clinical operations, and ensures adequate staffing at all times.
- Coordinates patient care activities, assignments, referrals, and ongoing plan-of-care updates.
- Ensures regulatory compliance, accreditation readiness, and active participation in audits, QAPI, and surveys.
- Collaborates with leadership on strategic planning, budgeting, staffing levels, and service expansion.
- Acts as liaison with physicians, healthcare facilities, and community partners to support patient needs
- Reviews community needs and participates in marketing and outreach to strengthen agency visibility.
- Monitors clinical documentation, service delivery quality, and adherence to standards of care.
- Promote staff development
- Assists with interviews and hires select home health care personnel.
- Participates in active patient care and patient assignments as needed.
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Nevada.
- Prior clinical experience in home health
- Hands-on experience preparing for CHAP, ACHC, or Joint Commision surveys.
- In-depth knowledge of CHAP accreditation standards, Medicare CoPs, and home health regulations.
- Ability to demonstrate self-confidence and positive attitude toward self and others and maintains commitment and enthusiasm to goal achievement
- Ability to identify and evaluate personal strengths and weaknesses of self and others
- Ability to supervise objectively without personal bias towards individuals
- Ability to handle complex situations with empathy while maintaining professionalism under pressure.
- Bachelor's degree approved by the National League for Nursing and has at least 3 years of nursing experience, preferably at least 1 year in home healthcare.
Pay: $45, $50,000.00 per year
