We are looking to add an ADON to our Hospice team here at Physicians Choice Home Health & Hospice The ADON will provide overall planning, direction, coordination, management and supervision of all nursing and professional services in conjunction with the Director of Nursing (DON). Responsible for the clinical performance of nursing in all areas to facilitate effective, efficient patient care. Assures quality care by reviewing and assessing each service. Maintains appropriate quality control programs. Maintains performance improvement activities withing the organization and participates in QAPI activities.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Nevada.

  • 1-2 years nursing experience in hospice, home health, primary care clinic, or health facility.

  • One (1) year supervisory and administrative experience preferred.

  • Thorough knowledge and understanding of the functions of a home health organization.

  • Ability to plan, coordinate, direct, and control the health services of a home health.

  • Competency in general nursing theory, techniques, and practice.

  • Ability to effectively communicate in English, both verbally and in writing.

  • Additional languages preferred but not required.

  • Basic computer knowledge.

ACCOUNTABILITY:

Reports directly to the Director of Nursing (DON)

TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range. Requires working under stressful conditions or working irregular hours. Requires ability to transport self to and from work. May require sitting at a desk for long periods of time. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this position.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70, $92,000.00 per year
