We are seeking a high-level Assistant Project Manager (APM) ready to take the next step in their career or an experienced Project Manager (PM) who brings proven electrical construction experience. This is a key leadership role with direct responsibility for managing multi-million-dollar projects, coordinating field operations, and ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery with the highest safety and quality standards.
Role Overview
As an APM or PM with electrical construction expertise, you will:
- Oversee project lifecycle from pre-construction planning through closeout.
- Collaborate with field superintendents, logistics managers, general contractors, and owners to ensure alignment on scope, schedule, and deliverables.
- Manage project budgets, cost codes, billing, and financial tracking.
- Review, approve, and coordinate submittals, RFIs, and change orders.
- Monitor procurement schedules, lead times, and vendor performance.
- Ensure OSHA compliance, site safety standards, and quality assurance.
- Provide clear communication with executive leadership, clients, and field staff.
- Mentor and develop APMs, coordinators, and field leaders to build project management depth across the company.
Qualifications

Required:
- 3–7+ years' experience in electrical contracting (commercial/industrial focus preferred).
- Proven success managing projects $5M+ in value.
- Strong knowledge of construction documents, electrical systems, and NEC compliance.
- Ability to coordinate submittals, RFIs, schedules, and budgets with accuracy.
- Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in construction management software (Procore preferred).
- Willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
- Experience managing cold storage, distribution, or manufacturing projects.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80, $120,000.00 per year
