We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Nursing (DON) to lead our clinical team in delivering exceptional care in a long-term care and skilled nursing environment. This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful difference while advancing your leadership career.

About the Role:

As Director of Nursing, you'll be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our Health Services Center Department — from staffing and compliance to quality assurance and patient outcomes. You'll work closely with our interdisciplinary team to ensure the highest standards of care and regulatory excellence.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead, mentor, and supervise the nursing team
  • 3 RN Unit Managers
  • 1 RN MDS Specialist
  • Nursing Supervisors
  • 3 Unit Coordinators
  • 1 Staffing / Scheduling Coordinator
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
  • Oversee clinical operations, resident care plans, and assessments
  • Implement quality improvement initiatives
  • Manage staffing, budgeting, and resource allocation
  • Serve as a key member of the health services center leadership team

Requirements:

  • Current RN license in New Hampshire
  • Minimum 3–5 years of nursing leadership experience in long-term care/skilled nursing
  • Strong knowledge of state and federal LTC regulations
  • Proven leadership and team-building skills
  • Strong Working Knowledge of Point Click Care (PCC)
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational abilities
