Software Engineer .Net

LogicLink Solutions has an immediate opening for a Senior C# developer with some Java experience in Washington, DC., to support the development of cutting-edge C# and J2EE applications for the United States Postal Service. This position is currently remote, but if USPS decides to cancel remote work, everyone will be required to work from USPS HQ in DC.

C# developer (5+ years' experience) who possesses the skill to rewrite and enhance the existing applications.

The developer must also possess the following skills:

• PL/SQL Stored Procedures and functions.
• Analyzing and converting business requirements to technical requirements, followed by designing and implementing the solutions.
• Involved in all aspects of the software development life cycle.
• Demonstrate abilities to learn both the business processes as well as new and existing technologies.
• Strong technical and troubleshooting skills to evaluate current and new technologies.

The ideal candidate must be able to work with minimal supervision and will work in a team environment.

Education Requirements: Bachelor's degree (example: engineering, mathematics, statistics, computer science, or related field) plus at least 5+ years of professional experience.

• Experience writing unit testing for every method.
• Must have excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills.
• Must be able to prioritize and handle multiple outstanding tasks.
• Some Linux/Windows Systems administration experience is a plus.
• Experience in debugging and troubleshooting Linux/Windows-based application servers, such as WebSphere environments, is a plus.
• Experience with Shell scripting is a plus.

Security Requirements

• Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for sensitive information access.
• Must be able to obtain and keep USPS Public Trust Clearance.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card Holder and have lived in the U.S. for at least the last five years.
• Must not have traveled outside of the United States for more than 180 days in the last five years.
• All candidates will be subject to a pre-employment background investigation and drug screening.
• Candidate will be hired after receiving the Public Trust Clearance. It will take around 30 days to process the clearance.
