Bachelor's degree and two (2) years of experience in data management, education administration, PowerSchool or student information systems, or related field.

Job Duties

Duties & Responsibilities

Leadership & Compliance:

Oversees attendance data management across all University Schools campuses.

Ensures compliance with state reporting regulations and internal policies.

Leads EIS reporting and collaborates with the Director of Instructional Technology & Student Information for timely submissions.

Conducts audits and implements procedures to maintain data accuracy and integrity.

Student Records & Student Support:

Partners with school administrators to monitor chronic absenteeism trends and report truancy, as needed..

Provides data insights to support attendance interventions and student success initiatives.

Communicates regularly with families and staff to ensure accurate attendance tracking.

Serves as the school registrar, maintaining student records, processing enrollment and withdrawal documentation, and ensuring compliance with state and district reporting requirements.

Data-Driven Decision Making:

Analyzes student data to identify trends and inform school improvement planning.

Prepares reports and dashboards for leadership use.

Supports data-driven decisions by maintaining reliable and current student information.

Operational Oversight:

Trains and supports school level office coordinators and data entry staff at each school site. Monitors PowerSchool operations and resolves data inconsistencies.

Manages the annual continued enrollment process for returning students and the new student enrollment process, including application design, deployment, verification, lottery, matriculation, parent communication, and waitlist management.

Partners with the appropriate district staff to facilitate student registration and ensure all required documentation and data are accurately collected and entered into the student information system.

Serves as district Registrar and ensures accurate enrollment, withdrawal, and demographic records including transferability of records, and the production of student transcripts. Coordinates with district and state personnel for all student information updates.
