The Opportunity
We're seeking a high-performing Human Resources Manager to lead HR operations across our corporate and store-level teams. Reporting directly to the CEO, this position offers the opportunity to lead, manage, and execute a wide range of HR functions, from recruitment and employee relations to benefits, payroll, compliance, and office administration.
This role is ideal for a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants to make a meaningful impact across the entire organization. It is a full-time in-office role based at our corporate headquarters in Dallas, TX.
What You'll Do
Human Resources & People Operations
- Own the full employee lifecycle: recruiting, onboarding, promotions, transfers, terminations
- Manage employee relations: address conflicts, coach, and track disciplinary actions
- Provide performance coaching and support feedback conversations
- Track and manage FMLA, state leave laws, and workers' comp claims
- Execute and improve onboarding experience and offboarding processes
- Administer benefits programs: medical, dental, vision, life, disability, SIMPLE IRA / 401(k)
- Lead open enrollment, eligibility tracking, and benefits billing with carriers
- Oversee multi-state compliance (including labor law posters, wage & hour, and leave laws)
- Process payroll and resolve any payroll tax filing issues in partnership with finance
- Build and manage workflows and process configurations in ADP Workforce Now
- Maintain current org charts and digital employee files
Reporting & Analytics
- Generate HR reports: headcount, turnover, payroll summaries, benefits, compliance
- Collaborate with the Accounting team on employee-related cost tracking
- Analyze trends to inform people and business strategy
Office & Administrative Support
- Manage office supply inventory, vendor relationships, and facility coordination
- Own internal communication tools (email groups, announcements, bulletins)
- Lead, plan, and execute employee events, celebrations, and team engagement activities
Finance & Systems Support
- Process HR and training invoices through SAP
- Reconcile and manage corporate credit card expenses
- Coordinate reporting and documentation with the Accounting team
What You Bring
- Proven ability to manage and execute across multiple HR functions independently
- Strong interpersonal and coaching skills; confident working with all levels of the organization
- Solid knowledge of multi-state employment laws and HR compliance
- Attention to detail and a high degree of discretion with sensitive information
- Proficiency in ADP Workforce Now, Microsoft Office Suite, and HRIS systems
- Experience with SAP or similar financial platforms is a plus
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- 3–5 years of progressive HR experience; restaurant or retail industry preferred
- Experience reporting to or partnering with senior/executive leadership
- SHRM-CP or PHR certification preferred

Work Environment
- Full-time, on-site position at our corporate office
- Prolonged periods at a desk/computer; occasional lifting (up to 15 lbs.)
- May require occasional visits to local restaurant locations or vendors
