Human Resources Manager

Key Responsibilities
Develop, update, and enforce HR policies and procedures.
Create and post job descriptions, manage recruitment, and coordinate candidate screening and testing.
Partner with external recruiting firms as needed.
Oversee hiring, onboarding, status changes, and terminations.
Maintain complete and compliant employee records.
Ensure compliance with all employment-related regulations, payroll, and benefits standards.
Advise leadership on employee relations and performance issues.
Deliver and document disciplinary actions and performance improvement plans.
Administer payroll (bi-weekly and semi-monthly), including taxes and 401(k) contributions.
Oversee year-end tax documentation, including W-2s.
Manage workers' compensation, disability, and unemployment claims.
Coordinate company events and employee engagement activities.
Administer employee benefits programs and assist with enrollment and inquiries.
Reconcile monthly benefit invoices.
Maintain affirmative action and compliance programs.
Qualifications
Broad knowledge of HR practices and current labor laws.
Experience in conflict resolution, employee investigations, and performance management.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
ERP experience preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
High ethical standards and ability to manage confidential information.
Self-motivated, team-oriented, and adaptable.
Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
Minimum of three (3) years of relevant HR experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
