Job Description
Olsson's Facility Engineering and Design Team leads the way in delivering innovative solutions for high-profile, technically complex projects. From large commercial developments and healthcare facilities to laboratories, educational institutions, data centers, and military installations, we provide comprehensive engineering analysis, design services, and professional consulting that set the standard for quality and performance.

As a Project Mechanical Engineer, you'll take ownership of challenging projects that shape communities and industries. This role is ideal for an experienced engineer who thrives in a collaborative environment, enjoys mentoring others, and brings creative problem-solving to sophisticated engineering challenges.

What You'll Do

  • Lead Complex Projects: Manage mechanical engineering design for large-scale, multi-disciplinary projects with demanding technical requirements.
  • Mentor and Inspire: Guide junior engineers, fostering growth and technical excellence across the team.
  • Collaborate Across Disciplines: Coordinate with architects, structural, electrical, and civil engineers to deliver integrated solutions.
  • Drive Innovation: Apply advanced engineering principles to develop efficient, sustainable, and cost-effective designs.
  • Ensure Excellence: Oversee quality control and compliance with industry standards, client expectations, and project timelines.

You Bring To The Team

  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to contribute and work well with a team.
  • Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • 6 or more years of related mechanical engineering experience.
  • Must be a registered Professional Engineer.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Revit.
  • Experience in vertical infrastructure HVAC design.
