AACE is looking for a BIM designer with experience in Autodesk Revit software. Our project scope typically includes HVAC, Plumbing, and Fire Protection for commercial/industrial type buildings and varies from single building sites to large multi-building campuses.
Qualifications:
Proficient in Revit and Building Information Modeling (BIM)
Experience in AutoCAD software is a plus
Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
Experience and/or interest in HVAC and Plumbing design
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Responsibilities:
In this role, you will primarily work in Revit, modeling HVAC equipment, ductwork, and piping, inside and around buildings created by the Architect and Structural engineers. You will work as a team with other designers and engineers to size, select, and coordinate HVAC equipment systems, ductwork, piping, plumbing fixtures and other equipment. This position should have a strong foundation in Revit and will continue to grow as an HVAC and Plumbing designer, where you will be given more responsibility based on your ability.
Site visits may be required occasionally to assist in surveying existing conditions, client meetings, and/or punch lists during construction. AACE expects its team members to be self-motivated, detail oriented, scope and budget conscious, client focused, and always striving for improvement.
This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled 'mechanical-minded' Revit designer with their sights set on becoming a lead HVAC, Plumbing, and Fire Protection designer.
