Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Business Development Representative to join our growing sales team. This positon is base + commission.
Responsibilities
- Conduct outbound calling campaigns to identify and qualify prospective clients, leveraging warm calling strategies to build rapport quickly.
- Engage in B2B (business-to-business) sales conversations, demonstrating the value of our technology solutions tailored to client needs.
- Negotiate terms and close deals effectively, ensuring mutual satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
- Utilize CRM software such as Salesforce to track leads, update customer information, and manage sales pipelines efficiently.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to develop targeted outreach strategies that generate new leads and expand market presence.
- Provide exceptional customer service by understanding client requirements, answering inquiries promptly, and offering tailored solutions.
- Maintain thorough knowledge of our products and industry trends to communicate technical features confidently during sales calls.
- Participate in regular training sessions to enhance your negotiation skills, technical sales techniques, and overall business development acumen.
Experience
- Proven experience in inside sales, telemarketing, or business development roles with a focus on technology or software solutions.
- Demonstrated success in B2G and B2B sales environments, especially involving outbound calling and warm lead engagement.
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to influence decision-makers effectively.
- Familiarity with CRM software such as Salesforce or similar platforms for managing customer relationships and sales activities.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex technical information clearly.
- Experience in customer service or technical sales is highly desirable, showcasing your ability to understand client needs and deliver value-driven solutions.
- Knowledge of marketing strategies that support lead generation and brand awareness efforts is a plus. Required Qualifications
- 3+ years selling services to government or facilities/real-estate stakeholders.
- Working knowledge of and basic federal procurement terms (preferred).
- Demonstrated ability to build pipeline and hit targets in a small-business setting.
- Strong writing and presentation skills; proficient with CRM and proposal tools.
- Reliable transportation for client meetings and site visits.
Preferred
- Experience in move management, logistics, FF&E, or construction-adjacent services.
KPIs
- 3.0× qualified pipeline coverage.
- 8–10 first meetings per month.
- ≥ 90% on-time, compliant proposals.
- Qualified win rate ≥ 25–30%.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $57, $69,488.51 per year
