Under the leadership of Tatiana Pino, the company specializes in the acquisition, development, construction, and management of residential communities and commercial properties.
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Accountant based in Miami, FL. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing the accounting and financial management of our joint ventures and multiple real estate projects, while ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies. The role involves the following key responsibilities:
- Prepare and post journal entries for monthly and year-end closing.
- Perform bank reconciliations for multiple accounts and entities
- Process and record vendor payments and manage accounts payable and receivable.
- Review and analyze financial data, including depreciation, accruals, and loan schedules.
- Monitor bank and credit card transactions for accuracy.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements and prepare accounting reports.
- Collaborate with external CPAs and provide financial documentation for tax filings.
- Prepare and file annual 1099 forms.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in accounting principles, financial reporting, and budgeting
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in accounting from an accredited U.S. institution (required)
- Proficiency in financial software, accounting systems, and data analysis tools
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with accuracy in numerical data
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze and interpret complex financial information
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities
- Proficiency in English (written and spoken)
- Prior experience in real estate or construction industries is a plus
- Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting experience
Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive salary range: $85,000 – $95,000 (based on experience)
