As an Access Control professional with Allied Universal in a food and beverage location, you will monitor entry points, manage badges, and help to deter security-related incidents by remaining visible and attentive. Your role will include routine patrols throughout the facility, providing a reassuring presence and offering outstanding customer service while assisting employees and visitors. Pay Rate: $17.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies in a food and beverage production location.
• Monitor access points to help control entry and exit of individuals and/or vehicles, verifying credentials as required for the facility.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, following protocols established for food and beverage sites.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and report any irregularities.
• Support emergency response activities as directed, assisting in the coordination of procedures relevant to the location.
• Complete incident and/or activity reports as needed, documenting observations and actions taken during the shift.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter unwanted activity and provide reassurance to employees and visitors at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
