What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail distribution location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or potential issues.
• Observe and report any unusual activity, hazards, or security-related incidents encountered during patrols.
• Communicate clearly with team members and site management regarding incidents, concerns, and daily activities as required.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access to the premises.
• Support Allied Universal in maintaining a secure environment for all personnel, visitors, and property at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
