Responsibilities

Assist bartenders by restocking liquor, mixers, garnishes, and glassware to ensure seamless service throughout shifts. Maintain cleanliness of bar areas, including wiping down surfaces, cleaning glassware, and disposing of waste efficiently. Support food preparation tasks such as garnishing drinks or preparing simple bar snacks when needed. Operate POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS to process transactions accurately and efficiently. Buss tables and clear empty glasses or dishes from the bar area to uphold a tidy environment. Help with catering events or banquet setups by providing timely beverage service support. Ensure proper food handling and safety procedures are followed at all times in compliance with health regulations. Assist with cash handling duties during shifts, including balancing registers and processing payments accurately. Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate service flow and address guest needs promptly. Support the overall hospitality experience by providing friendly customer service and ensuring guest satisfaction.

Requirements

Previous experience in food service or hospitality environments such as restaurants, bars, hotels, or catering is highly preferred. Experience with POS systems like Aloha POS. Familiarity with cleaning protocols, food handling procedures, and safety standards within the food industry is essential. Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and interact positively with guests. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting supplies or cleaning equipment. Nightclub or banquet experience is advantageous but not mandatory; enthusiasm for lively settings is key. Knowledge of kitchen operations or barista experience can be beneficial in supporting diverse service needs. A positive attitude with a proactive approach to multitasking in a fast-paced environment. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as required by hospitality schedules.
