HR Generalist – Growing Construction Company (Onsite in Medford, OR)

$80,000–$90,000 | 100% Employer-Paid Medical Insurance | 401(k) | Generous PTO & Paid Holidays

Our client, a rapidly growing construction company in Medford, OR, is looking for an experienced and people-focused HR Generalist to join their team onsite. This is a key role supporting employees, strengthening company culture, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations across HR, payroll coordination, compliance, and office administration.

What You'll Do

  • Assist employees with benefits enrollment, changes, and general benefit questions
  • Manage annual benefits open enrollment and related communications
  • Oversee union labor compliance and reporting
  • Review timecards and ensure accurate payroll coordination with accounting
  • Handle employee relations matters and help foster a positive, people-focused culture
  • Administer performance review processes and maintain documentation
  • Maintain and update company policies, procedures, and employee handbook
  • Support employee engagement initiatives and companywide events
  • Ensure accurate and confidential employee records and compliance documentation
  • Coordinate employee training, certifications, and compliance-based programs
  • Oversee daily office operations as the primary administrative point of contact
  • Manage office supplies, vendors, purchasing, and administrative systems
  • Coordinate IT needs with internal teams and external providers
  • Oversee front desk/reception and ensure a positive office experience
  • Manage incoming calls, mail, deliveries, and general office communication
  • Support executives with scheduling and administrative tasks
  • Manage facilities, workspace planning, and maintenance coordination
  • Administer company technology assets, including cell phones, laptops, and hardware

What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years of HR or administrative experience
  • Experience with Mider and BambooHR
  • Friendly, outgoing, respectful, and approachable demeanor
  • Highly organized, deadline-driven, and adaptable
  • Coachable and collaborative attitude

Nice to Have:

  • Union experience
  • Construction industry experience
