Director, Payer Sales

We're growing fast and looking to add a Director, Payer Sales to our team.

What We're Looking For

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven individual to lead our efforts in acquiring and expanding relationships with healthcare payer organizations, including government-funded health plans (e.g., Medicaid, Medicare Advantage), across the country. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the healthcare payer landscape and demonstrate the ability to build strong, long-lasting partnerships. This role will be instrumental in driving revenue, shaping our go-to-market strategy, and ensuring that our solutions deliver maximum value to payer organizations and their patients.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in healthcare sales, with a proven track record of selling SaaS solutions to payer organizations
  • Deep understanding of the healthcare payer market, including how payers evaluate and adopt new solutions
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Experience executing sales strategies that drive both new business and account expansion
  • Experience with CRM systems, Hubspot preferred
  • Ability to travel as needed to meet with customers and prospects

Job Requirements

  • Achieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs
  • Execute a comprehensive sales strategy targeting a broad range of payers (Medicaid, Medicare Advantage, and other government-funded and commercial plans)
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the payer segment
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at payer organizations
  • Collaborate with marketing, product, and customer success teams to ensure alignment and maximize customer value
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform sales strategies
  • Accurately document all sales activity in CRM
  • Represent Olio at industry conferences and networking events
