About the Role

The Assistant Office Manager plays an essential role in supporting daily front office operations to ensure an efficient, welcoming environment for patients and parents. You will assist with check-in/check-out, scheduling, billing, patient communication, and coordination with dental staff, helping the Office Manager maintain smooth workflow and exceptional service.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with daily office administration and team coordination
  • Manage patient scheduling and insurance verifications
  • Support billing processes and payment posting
  • Train and support front office staff as needed
  • Maintain compliance with office policies and HIPAA standards
  • Contribute to a welcoming, child-friendly atmosphere

Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of dental office/medical office experience (pediatric experience a plus)
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficiency with dental practice software and insurance processes
  • Positive attitude and commitment to teamwork
