Position Overview
Based in San Diego, CA, we're a reputable fire protection construction firm with a long history of success. We focus on large projects in the education, healthcare, and other commercial sectors, and we are looking for a sales executive to join our office. 

The Fire Sprinkler Construction Sales role is essential in driving sales for fire sprinkler systems within the construction industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the sales process. This position requires a strong understanding of fire protection systems and the ability to effectively communicate their value to clients in various sectors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients in the construction and fire protection industries.
  • Spearhead layout, estimating, and managing projects upon award
  • Work with a talented design team to spearhead incoming projects
  • Identify new business opportunities and generate leads through cold calls and networking.
  • Prepare and present sales proposals to potential clients, highlighting the benefits of fire sprinkler systems.
  • Conduct site visits to assess client needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Collaborate with project management and estimating teams to ensure accurate project bids and timely delivery.
  • Negotiate contracts and close sales to meet or exceed revenue targets and quotas.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and advancements related to fire protection and sprinkler systems.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support throughout the sales and installation process.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of fire sprinkler new construction sales experience
  • Ability to travel throughout the Southern California market
  • Strong knowledge of fire sprinkler systems and fire protection standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client engagement.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with estimating and project management processes is a plus.
  • Certifications such as NICET or knowledge of NFPA standards are desirable.
  • Experience with CRM software for managing client accounts and sales pipelines.
