We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Construction Estimator to join our team. We are seeking an experienced Construction Estimator & Project Manager with a strong background in residential construction. This role is ideal for someone who not only understands how homes are built and renovated—but can confidently estimate projects, present proposals to owners, and win work.

The ideal candidate combines deep construction knowledge with strong sales and communication skills, and is comfortable managing projects from initial site visit through completion.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare detailed estimates, budgets, and project proposals
  • Communicate confidently with owners via phone, email, text, and in person
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with owners, subcontractors, architects, and engineers
  • Negotiate pricing and scopes with subcontractors and vendors
  • Win projects through professional presentation and trust-based communication
  • Oversee residential construction projects from start to finish
  • Develop project plans including schedules, budgets, and resource allocation
  • Prepare and maintain project schedules throughout the life of each project
  • Track costs and prepare monthly cost projections
  • Conduct regular site visits to ensure quality, safety, and compliance
  • Manage project documentation including contracts, permits, and change orders
  • Provide regular updates to owners and address concerns promptly
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth communication and execution
  • Price out materials, labor, and products accurately
  • Develop and negotiate change orders as needed

Required Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience in residential construction estimation and project management
  • Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and best practices
  • Demonstrated ability to present estimates and close projects
  • Excellent sales, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities
  • Clear and professional communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Ability to problem-solve and make sound decisions in the field
  • Proficiency with estimating and project management software
  • Working knowledge of local building codes and regulations
  • Willingness to travel to job sites as needed

About the Role

As a Construction Estimator & Project Manager, you will play a critical role in driving projects forward—from pricing and presentation to execution and completion. Your ability to balance technical construction expertise with client-facing sales skills will be key to your success.

If you are a detail-oriented construction professional who understands residential building, enjoys working directly with owners, and knows how to win and manage projects, we'd love to hear from you.
