UnionGrid Roofing and Construction is seeking motivated, results-driven sales professionals to join our growing team as independent 1099 contractors. Our company specializes in solar installation, roofing, and general contracting services, helping homeowners upgrade their homes with high-quality solutions.
As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for generating leads, conducting in-home consultations, presenting solutions, and closing sales. This role is ideal for self-motivated individuals who thrive in a fast-paced, commission-based environment and are passionate about clean energy, home improvement, and delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Responsibilities
- Conduct outside sales activities by engaging directly with homeowners through door-to-door outreach, community events, and scheduled appointments.
- Promote and educate prospects on roofing and solar energy solutions, emphasizing benefits and value propositions.
- Utilize CRM software such as CompanyCam to manage leads, track customer interactions, and follow up effectively.
- Negotiate contracts with clients, ensuring clear communication of project scope, pricing, and timelines.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to develop targeted campaigns that generate quality leads and increase brand awareness.
- Maintain excellent customer service by addressing questions, providing technical information, and ensuring client satisfaction throughout the sales process.
- Lead efforts in energy sales by staying informed on industry trends, product innovations, and local regulations to better serve clients.
Skills
- Proven experience in outside sales or door-to-door sales preferred but not required; training provided for all new hires.
- Strong marketing skills with the ability to generate leads and build relationships within communities.
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are a plus to connect with diverse customer bases.
- Familiarity with CRM software such as CompanyCam and SalesRabbit or other CRM tools to manage customer data efficiently.
- Knowledge of solar sales, roofing solutions, or technical sales enhances your ability to communicate complex concepts clearly.
- Excellent negotiation skills coupled with a customer service mindset to close deals effectively.
- Demonstrated leadership qualities with the ability to motivate yourself and others in a fast-paced environment. Pay: $75, $150,000.00 per year
