Freelance Marketing & Digital Content Contractor (Remote – Canada-Based)

Simply Computing, a 100% Canadian-owned, family business and long-time Apple Authorized Reseller and Service Provider, is seeking an experienced Freelance Marketing & Digital Content Contractor to manage our online presence and digital marketing efforts.

This remote contract position averages 15–20 hours per week with flexible scheduling.

Scope of Work

· Maintain and update our Shopify website (banners, product listings, landing pages, and promotions)

· Create and send a weekly Mailchimp newsletter promoting new products and Apple-related updates

· Write short, engaging blog posts and web content to support SEO and customer engagement

· Design promotional graphics using Canva or Adobe Photoshop

· Manage Simply Computing's social media presence (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X)

· Run and monitor Google Ads and Meta Ads campaigns

· Report monthly on marketing performance using Google Analytics (GA4) and Shopify dashboards

Ideal Background

· 2+ years of experience in digital marketing, e-commerce, or content creation

· Strong working knowledge of Shopify, Mailchimp, and Google Analytics

· Skilled in SEO optimization, social media management, and basic graphic design

· Excellent writing and editing skills with attention to detail

· Organized, self-directed, and comfortable working independently with minimal supervision

Contract Details

· Remote, project-based role (Canada-based contractor preferred)

· Approx. 15–20 hours per week, flexible scheduling

· $40–$45 per hour, depending on experience

· Ongoing 6- to 12-month renewable contract
