Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented
Payroll Coordinator
to join our team in San Dimas, CA. In this role, you will provide essential support across payroll and timekeeping functions, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and excellent service for employees at all levels. The ideal candidate will have a strong customer service mindset, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and possess exceptional attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to employee questions regarding timesheets, payroll, and timekeeping procedures
  • Review, analyze, and correct timecards and pay data to resolve discrepancies
  • Maintain and update employee timekeeping systems
  • Provide first-level support for payroll and timekeeping inquiries, escalating issues as needed
  • Track and document support requests, ensuring timely resolution and proper recordkeeping
  • Collaborate with HR, Finance, and other departments to ensure payroll accuracy and compliance
  • Assist in developing and maintaining payroll and timekeeping policies, procedures, and training materials
  • Communicate with external vendors or agencies as required
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required
  • 0–1 year of administrative or payroll experience preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proven ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality
  • Demonstrated initiative and a commitment to customer service excellence
