Job Description: The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and overseeing all residential and commercial restoration projects to meet our customers' needs and to complete all jobs within IICRC standards. This is also a leadership position - this position will train new restoration technicians and this position works directly for the General Manager (there is a strong possibility for advancement as the company grows).

Lead Restoration Technician Qualifications and Experience 

• High school diploma (or GED) required.
• 2-3+ years of restoration experience required.
• 1 or more certifications from the Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC) highly preferred: WRT, AMRT, ASD, MRS, FSRT, OCT.
• Able to respond to emergency calls
• Problem solving skills: every restoration job will need a unique approach to solve.
• Adequate math skills. Ability to apply learned techniques to determine appropriate equipment type and number of units.
• Demonstrates advanced proficiency in the use of restoration software and portable devices used to report and record daily activity.

Primary Responsibilities

• Effectively lead, manage, and perform all Restoration services (Opportunities exist to earn other certifications and gain experience quickly).
• Complete appropriate restoration documentation, technician logs and work authorizations. Xactimate experience is desired.
• Communicate effectively with customers and potentially insurance agents.
• Perform basic equipment and vehicle maintenance.
• Perform Emergency Response Services.
• Maintain appearance and stock of appropriate tools, materials, and supplies for company vehicles.
• Maintain inventory of related supplies.
• Lift heavy equipment and work on your feet for extended periods.
• Willing to learn and work with the newest equipment and technology in the industry.
• Willing to hold self and others accountable for maintaining company standards.

(Note: Compensation levels will reflect the experience level of the technician. Hourly rate will increase as experience and certifications are gained. Commissions and bonus are possible on top of hourly rate.)
