HOUSING MOVE OUT CONSTRUCTION INSPECTOR

Winsor Consult Group is looking for a Housing Move Out Construction Inspector to become an integral part of our team in New York, NY. The right candidate will have experience with lead removal and abatement projects. Experience in managing client relationships would be immensely helpful to the candidate in this position. This position is full time in New York City and requires physical presence at NYCHA sites, in offices, and other locations. This is a 100% in person position.

Duties:

  • Perform daily walk-throughs in residents homes at NYCHA developments.
  • Assist Program Construction Manager with daily updates of performance metrics including support and coordination of systems and team members to ensure timely reporting.
  • Update various data sheets, systems, metrics and tracking systems.
  • Establish, maintain and update baseline schedule of abatements and associated work elements.
  • Assign abatement projects and work orders to existing and new abatement contractors
  • Coordinate with the outreach and relocation team for resident coordination, moveouts, temporary residential accommodations and return to their homes. .
  • Ensure that standard operating procedures are developed, tested and implemented across all team members.
  • Schedule and supervise dust wipe tests and inspections for lead.
  • Other duties as assigned and or necessary for the successful removal of lead from NYCHA residences.

Requirements:

  • 5 years of residential construction experience with an emphasis on lead abatement.
  • Experience with residential construction especially related to abatement of lead in New York State and or New York City.
  • Experience with working collaboratively with residents, building managers and superintendents, trades workers, abatement contractors, inspectors and consultant staff.
  • Lead certification is a plus but not mandatory.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65, $80,000.00 per year
