Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Inspector to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that construction projects meet quality standards and adhere to safety regulations. This position requires expertise in construction inspection, blueprint reading, and quality control processes. The Inspector will be responsible for conducting thorough inspections on various construction sites, including pipelines, and ensuring compliance with contracts and schematics.

Duties

  • Conduct inspections of construction sites to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
  • Review blueprints and schematics to understand project specifications and requirements.
  • Perform quality inspections on materials and workmanship throughout the construction process.
  • Collect data related to inspection findings and report any discrepancies or issues.
  • Collaborate with construction management teams to address any concerns regarding quality control.
  • Document inspection results and maintain accurate records of findings for future reference.
  • Communicate effectively with contractors and project managers regarding inspection outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in construction inspection or a related field is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of blueprint reading and schematics.
  • Familiarity with quality inspection processes and standards in the construction industry.
  • Excellent data collection skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in various construction site environments.
  • Knowledge of pipeline construction practices is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to convey inspection results clearly.
