Client Executive, North
Ideally located in one of the following states and willing to travel within the region: Illinois, Massachusetts, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia
About the Role
Are you a dynamic sales professional driven to build new business and disrupt your territory with innovative cybersecurity solutions? We are seeking an experienced and results-oriented Client Executive to accelerate growth in an assigned territory. This role emphasizes new logo acquisition, deep collaboration with our partner ecosystem, and accountability for territory development and achieving revenue targets.
Ideally based in Illinois, Massachusetts, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia and have a passion for creating and closing business, consistently exceeding revenue targets, and owning territory development.
Key Responsibilities
- Territory and Account Planning: Develop and execute comprehensive territory and account plans with clear objectives, milestones, and success criteria.
- Pipeline Generation: Proactively build and maintain a robust sales pipeline through a combination of direct prospecting and co-selling activities with strategic partners, including the Microsoft ecosystem.
- Sales Cycle Management: Lead the entire sales process, from initial prospecting and discovery through solution alignment, negotiation, and contract execution.
- Outcome-Driven Presentations: Deliver compelling, outcome-focused proposals and presentations that clearly connect our solutions and differentiators to a customer's specific business and technical challenges.
- Strategic Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with Sales Engineering and Customer Success to ensure strong customer adoption and retention.
- Consultative Selling: Engage consistently with prospects, customers, and partners using a consultative, outcome-driven sales approach.
- Operational Excellence: Maintain forecasting, pipeline management, and account planning with accuracy and integrity within Salesforce.
- Experience: A minimum of 5 years of demonstrated success in B2B enterprise sales, with a focus on selling complex technology or services solutions.
- Channel Expertise: Proven track record of generating pipeline and closing deals in a channel-driven sales model. Experience working closely with strategic partners is required, with a preference for experience within the Microsoft ecosystem.
- Sales Acumen: Expertise across the full sales process and proficiency with structured sales qualification methodologies (e.g., MEDDPICC).
- Pipeline Building : Demonstrated ability to build and grow a healthy sales pipeline through both direct outbound efforts and joint partner activities.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional listening, storytelling, and proposal creation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate our value proposition to both business and technical stakeholders.
- Mindset: A resilient, persuasive, and outcome-oriented disposition with the ability to operate both independently and collaboratively.
- Sales Tool Proficiency: Strong proficiency in Salesforce and the Microsoft Office Suite
You're driven and creative—an entrepreneurial seller who thrives in fast-moving, less-structured environments. You're not looking for a rigid playbook; instead, you excel at navigating complex networks, building relationships across functions, and driving outcomes through influence and execution.
Prior experience in cybersecurity sales or a strong familiarity with the security landscape, including SIEM, MSSP/MDR, SOC-as-a-Service, and enterprise security operating models.
- Experience working in a high-growth or startup environment.
- Familiarity with Microsoft security solutions, including Azure Sentinel, Microsoft E3/E5 license models, and the related ecosystem.
- Existing knowledge of and success with the Microsoft sales organization and partner-driven sales models.
- Completed formal sales training from a 3rd party (Challenger, Richardson, Sandler, etc.)
