Job Summary

As the Head Chef & Kitchen Manager, you will take the culinary reins, leading our kitchen team to create exceptional dining experiences that delight our guests. Your passion for food and leadership will inspire your team to deliver high-quality dishes while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and management. You'll be at the forefront of menu planning, food production, and ensuring that every plate reflects our commitment to excellence.

What you'll do

  • Lead and supervise kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and energetic environment.
  • Oversee all aspects of food preparation, ensuring quality and presentation meet our fine dining standards.
  • Manage inventory control and ordering processes to maintain optimal stock levels while minimizing waste.
  • Develop innovative menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and culinary trends.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean, organized kitchen space.
  • Coordinate catering services for events, ensuring seamless execution from start to finish.
  • Train and mentor kitchen staff in cooking techniques, food handling, and hospitality best practices.
  • Collaborate with restaurant management to enhance overall guest satisfaction through exceptional food service.

Basic qualifications

  • Proven experience in a leadership role within a culinary environment.

Preferred qualifications

  • Extensive banquet experience with a focus on high-volume service.
  • Strong background in dietary department operations and menu planning for diverse dietary needs.
  • Demonstrated expertise in kitchen management, including shift management and team dynamics.
  • Familiarity with bartending practices is a plus.
