Job Posting: Lead Line Cook (Part-Time)

Location: Luxury Beach, Spa & Residences - Fort Lauderdale, FL

Schedule: Fridays, Saturdays & Sundays | 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM

We are seeking a professional and experienced Lead Line Cook to oversee and operate our outdoor grill and barbecue area at a luxury beach spa and residential property. This role is part-time, ideal for a skilled chef who takes pride in their craft and enjoys working in a serene, guest-focused environment.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and execute a limited grill/barbecue menu with consistency and quality.
  • Handle food ordering, receiving, and inventory for the grill station.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the outdoor cooking area at all times.
  • Ensure food safety standards and sanitation guidelines are strictly followed.
  • Provide professional, attentive service while interacting with residents and spa guests.
  • Manage workflow independently during service hours.

Requirements

  • 5–10 years of professional kitchen experience, preferably in upscale or luxury dining.
  • Strong grill, sauté, and line cooking skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently in a part-time setting.
  • Professional demeanor, reliability, and consistency.
  • Strong organizational skills, including ordering and inventory management.
  • Must be available Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM.
  • Comfortable working outdoors in a beachfront environment.

Preferred Skills

  • Background in luxury hospitality or resort-style dining.
  • Experience creating or adapting simple yet elevated menus.
  • Excellent communication and guest interaction skills.
  • Ability to work calmly under pressure and maintain high standards.

Compensation

Competitive hourly pay based on experience.
