Blood Assurance is seeking an in-office Technology Service Specialist. The primary duties will include responding to computer hardware and software related issues to keep technology performing reliably for Blood Assurance employees. Maintains hardware, software, and system administration (add/remove users) for daily operation of computers and telephone systems. Responsibilities include configuring, updating, troubleshooting, and repairing PC workstations, printers, telephones and A/V equipment. Some system administration of servers for operation, maintenance, security, and software applications. Prepares audio/ visual equipment and networks for business and training meetings.  

Skills Needed for the Technology Service Specialist: 

  • Very good technical problem resolution skills.   
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects. 
  • Self-motivated to quickly resolve technology problems.  
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and respectfully with end users while resolving technical issues.

 Requirements for consideration will include the following: 

  • The Ability to work in Office
  • Computer Science, Network Specialist, or equivalent 2 year technology Associates Degree required
  •  Vendor specific training 1 week coursework such as Microsoft and Cisco preferred
  •  A+ certification and Mac products experience also preferred
