Our client is a Tampa-based organization that provides a range of services including accounting, financial, human resources, marketing, and operations solutions to its clients. It operates in various business lines such as investment management, real estate development, architecture and interior design, and family office services. They are looking for a Senior Paralegal/ Legal Operations Manager to join their team in their Tampa, FL office.

Your new role

The Position will be responsible for a variety of administrative work necessary to meet the needs of the Company, its affiliated entities, its clients and a variety of investment vehicles. This Position reports to the president and CFO and this position will be responsible for mentoring, training and supervising one direct report, a paralegal.

What you will need to succeed

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree or higher in legal studies, paralegal or related fields (certified paralegal preferred)
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience as a paralegal with experience in corporate and/or trusts and estates preferred
  • Notary public or ability to become notary public
  • Fast learner committed to coming up to speed on new software quickly, familiarity with iPaladin and Carta is preferred
  • Desire to work in a small collegial environment.
  • Self-motivated and highly detailed and data-oriented with solid critical thinking, organizational and analytical skills
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality in all Company matters
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of working time
