Bolton Rewards helps clients build and optimize their people resources through their reward strategy, compensation program design and rewards communication. We are seasoned strategists, advisors and analysts in performance and rewards.

We are currently looking to add a talented and motivated professional to our Public Sector Rewards consulting practice – states, municipalities, counties and related entities – as a Senior Consultant. Our Senior Consultants apply their expertise in reward strategy, compensation program design, and rewards communication to lead client projects and manage account relationships. Through their personal efforts with the support of our professional staff or analysts and experts, they also serve in other key capacities:

  • Participates in practice business development and marketing strategy and planning.
  • Sources opportunities, participates in proposal development, and helps close contracts.
  • Manages a sizable number of multiple, concurrent client projects ensuring client satisfaction and profitability.
  • Assists in determining practice-wide staffing needs and helps develop professional staff.

Requirements

The successful candidate will have:

  • At least a bachelor's degree, preferably in economics, finance, public administration, business or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience consulting with government sector employers with a history of managing projects and account relationships.
  • Demonstrated experience with compensation consulting.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage tasks and work independently in a professional, deadline-based environment.
