Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Territory Sales Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales growth within your assigned territory by developing and managing relationships with clients. You will leverage your expertise in outside sales, account management, and business development to achieve targets and expand our market presence. The ideal candidate will possess strong negotiation skills, a customer-centric approach, and a passion for technology sales.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets within the designated territory.
- Identify and cultivate new business opportunities through lead generation, cold calling, and networking.
- Manage existing client accounts to ensure satisfaction and identify upselling opportunities.
- Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to prospective clients.
- Utilize CRM software (Salesforce) to track sales activities, manage customer interactions, and analyze sales data.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to create effective promotional strategies that align with sales goals.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to inform sales strategies.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, forecasts, and pipeline management.
Requirements
- Proven experience in outside sales, preferably in B2B environments.
- Strong background in account management and territory management.
- Familiarity with technology sales and technical products is highly desirable.
- Proficient in using CRM software such as Salesforce for managing leads and customer relationships.
- Excellent negotiation skills with a track record of closing deals successfully.
- Strong analytical skills to assess market conditions and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Ability to conduct engaging product demos that effectively showcase product benefits.
- Experience in direct sales, inside sales, or retail sales is a plus.
- Exceptional communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence.
