Position Overview

Elysian Capital is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead the organization's financial strategy, accounting operations, and fiscal health across all portfolio entities. The ideal candidate is a strategic and analytical executive capable of navigating a fast-paced, multi-entity environment with complex reporting structures and diverse revenue models.

This position requires a proactive leader who can drive financial planning, optimize performance, ensure compliance, and partner with senior leadership to execute strategic growth initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all financial operations across Elysian Capital and its portfolio companies, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis.
  • Develop and implement financial strategies to support business objectives, capital structure, and long-term profitability.
  • Direct cash flow management, banking relationships, and capital investments.
  • Lead financial reporting, audits, and tax compliance in coordination with external firms.
  • Evaluate acquisition opportunities and perform financial due diligence for new investments.
  • Implement and refine accounting systems and controls to ensure operational efficiency and transparency.
  • Partner with the CEO and executive leadership to drive strategic planning, risk management, and performance improvement initiatives.
  • Manage and mentor the accounting and finance team to support professional development and organizational scalability.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration (Master's or CPA preferred).
  • Minimum 10+ years of progressive financial leadership experience, ideally in multi-entity or private equity-backed organizations.
  • Proven experience with mergers, acquisitions, and financial due diligence.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial modeling, and multi-state compliance.
  • Expertise in budget forecasting, variance analysis, and KPI development.
  • Exceptional communication and leadership skills with the ability to partner effectively across all departments.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $175, $200,000.00 per year
