About Us
NetSpark IP & Telecom is a rapidly growing, private equity–backed telecom and technology services platform. With multiple acquisitions completed and a strong pipeline ahead, we are building one of the leading roll-ups in the managed services and telecom expense management (TEM) space. Our platform has reached scale through continued organic growth and M&A, and we are now seeking a proven operator to help take the business to the next level.
The Role
We are searching for an accomplished Chief Operating Officer (COO) to partner with the CEO and leadership team in executing our growth strategy. This individual will play a central role in driving operational excellence, scaling post-acquisition integrations, and optimizing performance across the enterprise.
The ideal candidate has prior experience in a private equity–backed environment, thrives in fast-paced and M&A-driven settings, and brings a balance of strategic leadership and hands-on execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Operational Leadership: Lead day-to-day operations across multiple business units (Carrier Agency, TEM, MSP, UCaaS, and Carrier Direct Bill).
- M&A Integration: Drive post-acquisition integration, ensuring operational synergies, cultural alignment, and systems/process optimization.
- Growth Enablement: Scale operations to support $100M+ in revenue with a focus on EBITDA expansion and enterprise value creation.
- Execution Excellence: Build processes and metrics to ensure accountability, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
- Strategic Partnership: Collaborate with the CEO, CFO, and Board to align on strategic objectives, resource allocation, and long-term planning.
- Team Development: Recruit, mentor, and develop top leadership talent while fostering a performance-driven culture.
Candidate Profile
- Proven experience as a COO, President, or #2 executive in a high-growth, private equity–backed business.
- Demonstrated success scaling $100M+ revenue organizations (telecom, TEM, managed services, SaaS, or related technology services strongly preferred).
- Deep expertise in M&A integration with a track record of driving operational and financial results post-acquisition.
- Balanced skillset: Strategic thinker with a strong bias toward execution and measurable outcomes.
- Sector knowledge: Telecom expense management, carrier services, managed IT/communications services, or similar tech-enabled services.
- Strong leadership presence with the ability to inspire teams, instill discipline, and deliver results.
Compensation
A competitive executive compensation package will be offered, including base salary, performance bonus, and equity participation aligned with company growth and investor objectives.
